The aim of the Rare Cancer Network is to collect, analyse and ultimately publish data on either rare types of cancers (preferably diseases where radiation therapy plays a role) or rare presentations of common cancers (eg. HCG + seminoma).

Multicentric retrospective studies will be carried out.

One principal investigator will be responsible for each study. He/she will elaborate the study plan and make ad-hoc flow sheets to be distributed to the members of the network. One or two local persons will then be in charge of collecting the data requested from the patients’ charts and completing the flow sheets (one per patient) to be returned to the principle investigator. Analysis is carried out by the principle investigator.

To announce a study, please contact first the coordinating office before starting out so that a record can be kept of all the activities of the network
